NYC: Lovebugs by Jacques Torres

Between white, milk, and dark chocolate, white is always my last choice.

But even then, I can't help but fall head over heels for Lovebugs by Jacques Torres. I'll admit it was appearance alone that convinced me to try this chocolate in the first place - how could you not coo over that too-cute-for-words bug? And with the heart in the middle! Just makes you want to fall in love over and over again!

More seriously, taste lives up to appearance in this cheerful key lime bon bon. Zesty and bright, lime zest is infused into white chocolate ganache then enrobed in a thin and silky, slow melting white chocolate shell. One bite and gone like magic.

Bon bons are $1.50 apiece at all Jacques Torres shops. The location on the corner of Hudson and King Street is my favourite - the largest of the three with plenty of seating and glass windows to observe the chocolate making process.
