After a midday meal of Korean plate lunch yesterday, Mom and I stopped by the Waiola's on Kapahulu...but it wasn't there anymore?! Turned out they had just moved to new location last week. The owner bought an old house just a few streets up, and renovated it into a shave ice shop. As good as the original!
We shared the large custard bowl with extra condensed milk. A beautiful thing. Smooth, velvety, puts all shave(d) ice found in NYC to utter shame for sure! This is like chilly POWDER. 
This new location is about the same size as the Kahapulu one...I can't remember if the old shop sold crack seed, but there's bunch here! Li hing mui mangos and all the classic goodies.
Here's our shave ice bowl - so big! We got lychee and li hing mui syrup...my favourite combo! Though sometimes I switch it up with Lilikoi or POG. The custard is buried underneath all the shave ice...
