Tuesday Lunch with Phyllis: Otto

I haven't seen much of Phyllis since she gave birth a few months ago, and so on the rare occasions that we do meet, there's plenty of reason for celebration ^_^ We started with the special vegetable of the week: Cavalo Nero Con Ricotta - Tuscan Kale, Garlic, Jalapeno and Fresh Ricotta...
...and then each had our own plate of the Taccozette con Stracotto - Braised Pork Shoulder, Tomato, and Basil.
For dessert, we split the Black & White - Milk Chocolate Chip Gelato, Hazelnut Croccante, Creme Fraiche Gelato, Chocolate Sauce, and Caramel Crema.

Two hours of peace and then it was off to our respective showings, hers near Madison Square Park, and mine in Nolita. Ahh, the beauty of a flexible work schedule ^_^ (Don't get me wrong though - I work my ass off! ;)
