I spent some time organizing my Flickr account earlier today...it's amazing how quickly photos accumulate! I photograph about 50% of what I eat, and of that 50%, less than a quarter of those photos make it on to this blog. From now on, about once week, I'll have a little post devoted to photos that would never get blogged about otherwise. Random events, dinners and friends from the week. You know, stuff like that ;) Hope you enjoy!
Monday in a very beautiful Brooklyn backyard. Cocktails by Don. And his ice! Thoroughly tipsy before 6.
If only every Monday afternoon was this delicious.
Saturday brunch at Pylos. My favourite Greek restaurant in the city, hands down. It's pretty pricey at dinner, but brunch, a $15 prix fixe including mimosas or sparkling wine, and coffee or tea is an excellent deal.
To top it off, not many people know they serve brunch, so there's never a wait!
Weeknight dinner at home with Monsieur P . There's this one salad we do all the time. Red leaf lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, cornichons, feta, olives, and pears. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar. So good. So simple. We always keep a few types of cheeses on hand, and break those out for dinner/snack...party time! Heee. On a goat cheese streak recently :)
A trio of punches at Dan's birthday...
...and all the killer little bites made by Kathryn! Prosciutto-wrapped melon, smoked salmon, salami and lots of cheeses!
Working from home. Something I do about once or twice a week. My clients tend to be in the Soho/West Village/Union Square area, and it's often more convenient to work from home when there are multiple appointments nearby. Bonus: I get to make lunch at home too! Eating out for lunch everyday gets crazy pricey, and sometimes you just want to fry your own dumplings :)
