Boston, Part I: Morse's Fish Company
My family flew in from Hawai'i last week to take my younger sister on an east coast college tour (she graduates high school next spring! :). During the time that they're not school touring, shopping, and getting back massages, I've been making sure they pack in a lot of good food!
It's very fun (and sometimes stressful) when they come visit...but we always have a blast. Last week we went up to Boston (a bazillion thanks to Zubair for lending us his car! :) to look at schools. I took a few days off work to join them - the next few posts will be about our Boston food stops.
We arrived in Boston pretty late Monday night and wandered to Morse's Fish Company on Washington Street for a quick dinner before crashing for the evening.
Here we had bowls of clam chowder...
...which came with about five million bags of oyster crackers.
...fish & chips...
...and plates of calamari and fried clam strips.
I don't think any of us anticipated just how much fried food we were about to consume over the next two days, haha.
Morse's was alright, but nothing to write home about. We had much better seafood in the city of Essex the following day!
Running off for my Sunday Open House, but hope you all had a great weekend :)
