Afternoon sweets with Farida. First, iced coffees at Honolulu Coffee Co (I worked as a morning pastry baker there in 2005! :). And then, gelato at the 'Gelato Bar @ Nordstrom'. It might be served in a department store, but the gelato is made locally by La Gelateria one of the few (or only??) gelato makers in Honolulu. Macadamia Nut gelato for Farida, and Matcha for myself. The wafer that comes with each serving is killer (be nice to the counter boy/girl - I've had much success in persuading them to give me a few extra wafers ;)Gelato Bar @ Nordstrom
