As Robyn and I walked back east after the event, we passed by horrifying sights between 11th and 10th Avenue on 27th Street. A boy burning on the street with hooks hanging from his skin...and another individual on a bed of nails, dripping in blood. Turned out we were walking past live previews for Blood Manor, the haunted house. ::shudder:: :/

Then, cocktail party with Zubair, and midnight hot dogs at Gray's right around the corner ^_^

Friday Lunch...

...at Pinche Taqueria in Soho with two new and very awesome friends, Farida and Becky, both with Hawai'i connections! ^_^ I had the Machaca Con Huevos, which consisted of scrambled eggs mixed with shredded beef and pico de gallo. Served with tortillas, rice and beans. A glass of horchata (my favourite in the city :) on the side...
...and Farida and Becky shared tacos...
...and nachos. A very fine Friday lunch ^_^
